Aramark will be the sole supplier of food and beverages for any function held in our banquet areas - see U of R policy #60.20.10 on the web. Due to Provincial regulations, any additional foods agreed to and provided by the caterer must remain on campus after the event is completed. Food must be served when alcoholic beverages are served - see U of R policy #10.45 on the web.

 

Keys to a Successful Event

Arrangements:
The key to a successful event is in the planning. The first step is contacting our office, where we can assist you in arranging all facets of your event. In addition to the menus, our Chef would be delighted to design a menu to suit your specific needs, including full attention to any special dietary needs or allergies.

Special Information:
All pricing is subject to applicable taxes. Menu prices are subject to change as market conditions warrant.

The catering office must be notified no less than 48 hours prior to your function of the guaranteed number of meals to be served. The original expected attendance would be prepared and charged should the catering department not receive a guarantee.

Types of Service:
We offer two types of service, Economy and Premium.
Economy Service is no "frills" and is available for functions such as simple coffee breaks and light receptions. Economy Service is provided at no extra charge.
Premium Service features linen, china, and cutlery, all attractively set up for you. The Premium Service charge is 10% of the total before taxes. (Note: Buffets and entrees include Premium Service).

Cancellation:
Cancellations must be received at least three working days prior to the scheduled event, in order to avoid a cancellation fee of 50% of anticipated charges. Cancellations not received prior to 24 hours before the scheduled event are subject to a fee of 100% of anticipated charges.

Credits and Deposits:
Catering orders not charged to a University account will be subject to a deposit of $200.00, 72 hours prior to the event. The balance will be invoiced and final payment is due within 30 days. VISA, MASTERCARD, AND INTERAC PAYMENT METHODS ARE AVAILABLE.

  • Audio Video Equipment is available upon request for any banquet or meeting function
  • Arrangements for parking can be made through Food Services

 

Bar Arrangement

If you are planning an event on campus please refer to the University of Regina Policy No. 10.45 Sale and Service of Alcohol on Campus

Cash Bar
  • We provide the set up and the bartenders
  • If the bar revenue does not exceed $200.00 a charge of $15.00 per hour per bartender is required (3 hour minimum)

Host Bar

  • Bar service provided as above but the cost is added to the total catering bill

We will serve:

  • house liquor
  • spirits
  • bottled beer
  • house wine
