| Qualifications for Service Vehicle Permits |

Service Vehicle permits may be issued to persons engaged in the supervision,
inspection or performance of construction, maintenance or operation
of buildings, utilities and underground services on the Campus, and
to persons who drive a vehicle carrying tools, parts or equipment which
must be used in that work.
Service Vehicle permits for those who regularly are on campus working
(i.e. faculty and staff) are only provided if the person or organization
(i.e. contracted employees) has purchased a parking permit at regular
rates for the vehicles in question. Without limiting the foregoing,
employees of the University, that the University needs to be on the
on-call list, but who do not purchase a permit for a designated stall
or area will be provided a service vehicle permit. This permit may only
be used when the person issued the permit is on campus as a result of
having been called to campus by virtue of their on-call status.

The renewal time period for yearly permits is April 30.
Persons engaged in frequent activity on campus may qualify for a yearly
permit.
Persons engaged in irregular activity on campus may obtain a temporary
Service Vehicle permit.
| Where to park |

The holder of a Service Vehicle permit may park in any
area designated for “Service Vehicle” for a one-hour time
as shown on the permit. After the time limit the vehicle must move to
an Authorized "M" Area where it may park for an unlimited
period of time.
The holder of a Service Vehicle permit, if parked at a metered parking
stall is not exempt from placing a coin(s) during the hours that meters
are in effect, as indicated on the meter.
The holder of a Service Vehicle permit, if parked in the Dr. William
Riddell Centre Parkade, is not exempt from paying for the use of that
facility.
The holder of a Service Vehicle permit, if parked in the Visitor Parking
Pay Lot, is not exempt from paying for the use of that facility during
the hours that the Kiosk is in effect.
