Dawn Gaetz Prize
One award of $750 presented annually

The Dawn Gaetz Prize in Sociology was established by a donor who wishes to remain anonymous. The intention of the scholarship is to recognize students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Sociology who have demonstrated academic achievement, and have written an outstanding essay in a Sociology or Social Studies undergraduate course during the academic year.

ELIGIBILITY: The Scholarship will be awarded to a University of Regina undergraduate student who meets the following criteria:

*Pursuing a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Sociology
*Successfully completed a minimum of 53 credit hours toward program requirements
*Minimum cumulative grade point average of 75%
*Part-time or full-time students
*Most outstanding essay for a Sociology of Social Studies undergrad course within the Fall or Winter Semester of an academic year. (Honours paper are excluded)

Papers can be submitted for consideration by faculty or individual students. Submissions should be sent to the Department Chair.
