Professional Management Certificate

The Professional Management Certificate will explore the key areas of management including effective business techniques that foster communication, teamwork, problem solving and an understanding of the principles of business management and their interrelationships. You will explore key concepts of organizational behaviour and the behaviour of individuals and groups in organizations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Professional Management Certificate explores effective supervisory skills through theory and practical application. All classes may be taken as individual professional development opportunities, however if you wish to receive the Professional Management Certificate the following 4 classes and 3 electives must be taken.

Our Instructors

Our trained facilitators have extensive experience in a variety of workplace settings. The instructors will introduce selected models and theories and help you develop practical strategies and techniques for your workplace.

Our teaching methods include:

  • Experiential hands-on learning
  • Small group discussions
  • Case studies
  • Lectures
  • Simulations and role playing

NOTE: Prerequisites NOT required, however, where applicable, suggested prerequisites are listed. Formal admission to the University of Regina is NOT required for B&PD courses. Classes may be done individually OR as part of the certificate.
