Professional Development is located in the College Building, Room
113, College Avenue & Scarth Street. The office is open Monday - Friday; 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.
Admission/Attendance/Prerequisites
Prerequisites
NOT
required (except when enrolled in the Project Management Certificate), however
where applicable, suggested prerequisites are listed. A completion letter will
be issued at the end of the end of class provided you have attended a minimum of
80% of each day of the class. Formal admission to the University of Regina is
NOT
required for B&PD courses. Classes may be done individually
OR as
part of the certificate.
Cancellation
B&PD reserves the right to cancel a
course subject to minimum enrolment, facility issues or other administrative
reasons. Every effort will be made to notify the participant in the event of
cancellation. Full fees will be refunded.
Withdrawal
Business & Professional Development
requires written notice (email/fax acceptable) 5 business days (excluding
weekends and statutory holidays) prior to the course start date. Participants
will be liable for the entire fee if written notice is not received 5 working
days prior. In the instance where a medical certificate is provided, a credit
will be applied to the participants account for future B&PD courses.
Non-attendance does NOT constitute withdrawal. All cancellations will be charged
a $50.00 processing fee.
Payment
B&PD accepts cheques, Interac,
American Express, Master Card and VISA. Full payment must accompany
registration. Cheques are to be made payable to the University of Regina. If
you would like invoicing done through your employer, written confirmation of
payment from your supervisor is required upon registration.
Parking
Parking Permits are
available the day of the seminar in College Building, Room 113. You may
park in any designated "M" parking spot in Lot 20. Please hang the pass
on your rear view mirror immediately to avoid a parking ticket.
Parking passes do not need to be returned. Metered parking is free after
6:00 pm and on weekends.
Holiday Closures
The University of Regina acknowledges
all Statutory Holidays and is closed for Christmas December 25 to January 1
inclusive.
