Renée Coghill

Conservatory Head of Guitar, Harp and Voice
Guitar Instructor

In Her Studio:

Renée Coghill teaches guitar with the Conservatory, as well as group classes and camps. Lessons with Renée will cost $60 per hour. She is accepting students at this time. Renée will teach students ages 8 and up, and will teach any level of student. In Renée’s studio, students are not required to work towards exams or music festival, although these options are available, and are encouraged to participate in recitals. She teaches classical, and acoustic music, not jazz or anything that plugs in. Renée requires students to supply their own guitar by the first lesson (students can consult with Renée beforehand), their own books, picks, and a foot stand for classical music students. Renée’s practice policy is dependant on the student’s level and age, but she recommends practicing “only on the days you eat!”
