Programs

Throughout the year the Centre for Teaching and Learning offers a variety of funding opportunities, certificate programs, and seminars and workshops.

Through CTL faculty can apply for the President's Teaching and Learning Scholars Program, which focuses on research aligned with teaching and learning.  These projects follow a Scholarship of Teaching and Learning style of research.  The Call for Proposals will be announced in August 2012 and CTL will provide support throughout the year for the ongoing and the new scholars, providing opportunities for the scholars to meet to discuss their new and ongoing research.

The CTL also offers a Graduate Citation Program for graduate students who are involved in the teaching experience at the university. This program usually runs in the Winter semester. In both the Fall and Winter semesters, CTL offers Teaching Development Days, a short program of seminars and workshops for graduate and undergraduate Teaching Assistants.

CTL offers a variety of seminars and workshops throughout the year.  There will be campus-wide email announcements regarding these opportunities.

Most of the programs, seminars, and workshops offered through CTL will occur in the new CTL space in Library 610 or in the new classroom on the Library main floor in Library 107.
