This National Aboriginal Day, the Aboriginal Student Centre at the University of Regina will be celebrating by hosting an amazing lineup of entertainment that includes dancing, storytelling, music, a Red River Cart demonstration, and more!
Showcase Hosts Bill Cook and Tessa Desnomie are sure to keep you entertained with their musical styling between student acts by Connor Standingready, Shannon McNabb, Miali-Elise Coley, and Chasity Delorme and the Rainbow Dance Troup.
Headline performers The Snake Oil Salesmen will keep audiences enthralled with their musical talents, which have been described as having "…taken small town sensibilities, infused them with loss and pain, shaken the mixture over tears both joyous and desperate, boiled furiously in an extract of love and lust, and then bottled it. The result is a passionate, delicious blend of rockin, groovin, story-tellin', and musicking that bites like a prairie rattler, goes down like a fine wine and tosses your inhibitions to the wind."
And if that's not enough to intrigue you, bannock burgers, potato salad, beverages and ice cream will be served on site to 700 ticket holders.
Free Parking is available for guests in Lot 3M and Lot 17M.
Tickets are $5
