Events

In visual arts, the list of events is as varied and dynamic as the array of expressive media. In addition to the Art for Lunch series which features faculty members, graduate students and local and visiting artists, the Department presents an extensive rotation of visiting artists from all over the world. These accomplished artists spend between 2 days and 2 weeks in the department and bring a fresh and enriched perspective to the student's learning experience.

Crowning the year's hard work is a series of public student exhibitions at the Mackenzie Art Gallery. In the fall, graduating MFA students present final solo exhibitions and in the spring, graduating BFA students in groups of four or five present their "thesis" work.
