RUSSIAN
Students with Grade 12 standing in Russian will not normally receive credit for RUS 100 and 101. However, students who completed Russian 30 (Grade 12) five or more years ago and have not taken any Russian courses in the interim may choose to satisfy the language requirement for the BA by taking RUS 100, 101 and 200.

RUS 100
Introductory Russian I
3:3-1
No previous knowledge of Russian expected. An introduction in the study of the Russian language, with practice in reading, speaking, and writing. Printed and electronic learning materials.

RUS 101
Introductory Russian II
3:3-1
Continuation of RUS 100 with additional readings and oral practice.
Prerequisite: RUS 100 or permission of the Language Institute.
RUS 200
Intermediate Russian
3:3-1
Grammar review, composition, reading, and conversation. Printed and electronic learning materials.
Prerequisite: RUS 101 or permission of the Language Institute.
