Eligibility: Awarded to a full-time second-year student enrolled in any faculty at the University of Regina (except in the Department of Music) entering the third year of studies with a minimum weighted percentage average of 80%. Preference will be given to a dependant of a member of Beta Sigma Phi.
Conditions: Awarded annually. The award can be applied only to the student's account to cover tuition fees and necessary books and materials. The recipient cannot hold another major award.

Eligibility: Awarded to a student who has completed the requirements enabling transfer to a selected program of studies. It is awarded to a University Entrance Program student at least 25 years old who has successfully completed a minimum of 24 credit hours of course work. A minimum grade of 70% in both an English and a History course is required.
Conditions: Awarded annually. The student must register in at least 12 credit hours in the Fall semester.

Eligibility: Awarded to financially needy undergraduate students at the University of Regina. Students should be enrolled in a full-time program of study leading to a degree or diploma and who are entering or are enrolled in their second or subsequent year of study. The student's major program of study should be in an industry related, technology based, or business field (e.g. Geology, Engineering, Computer Science, Administration, Chemistry, Economics or Geography.) Recipients must be permanent residents of Canada preferably from the following provinces or territories: Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, the Northwest Territories or the Nunavut Territory.

Eligibility: This bursary is open to undergraduate students in any faculty entering second or subsequent year who are registered in a full course load (minimum 15 credit hours). This bursary will be awarded on the basis of financial need. A minimum weighted percentage average of 65% is required.
Conditions: The first half of the bursary ($2,250) is payable in the Fall semester. The second half of the bursary ($2,250) is payable for the Winter semester, provided that a minimum weighted percentage average of 65% has been maintained and that the student has registered in at least 15 credit hours in the Winter semester.

C.D. HOWE MATURE STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE![]()

Eligibility: Awarded to mature students of Aboriginal ancestry, who have completed the University Entrance Program with a minimum average of 75% and who have successfully met the requirements for admission to a degree program at the University of Regina.
Conditions: Awarded annually in the Fall semester and paid in two equal installments. To receive the second installment of $1,500 for the Winter semester, the student must have successfully completed a minimum of 12 credit hours in the Fall semester and maintained a minimum 75% average.
Donor: Established in 1998 through a gift from the C. D. Howe Memorial Foundation to support mature students of Aboriginal ancestry in continuing their studies.

Eligibility: Awarded to a financially needy student who has completed one year of studies at the University of Regina. Preference will be given to those who intend to enter a program leading to a professional degree (e.g. engineering, education, pre-law, pre-dentistry, pre-medicine). Eligibility: Awarded to a student registered at the University of Regina on a full-time basis (12 credit hours minimum) and entering his/her second, third or fourth year of study with a minimum weighted percentage average of 70%. From those who meet this requirement, preference shall be given to the applicant who best demonstrates a contribution to Junior Curling and/or Coaching development and/or volunteerism in the curling community in Saskatchewan. Where no applicants are able to demonstrate such a contribution, the award shall be given on the basis of academic performance.

Donor: Proceeds from the 1998 Scott Tournament of Hearts to honour Evelyn Krahn's contribution to the sport of curling.

Preference will be given to students with disabilities. Students must hold a minimum academic average of 70%. The recipient will be selected on the basis of demonstrated financial need.

SASKENERGY SCHOLARSHIPS![]()

Eligibility: The Scholarships will be awarded to outstanding students at the University of Regina who are registering for full-time studies (15 credit hours) in a program leading to a Bachelor of Administration, Applied Science (Engineering), or Science. The student must have resided in Saskatchewan for two years prior to application. The award recipient must pass all courses and maintain a minimum 70% average during the Fall semester of study to be eligible to receive the second half of the payment in the Winter semester.
Conditions: The scholarship will be paid in two equal payments. One in the Fall semester and one in the Winter semester, providing the student meets the eligibility requirements The student must have resided in Saskatchewan for two years prior to application. Two scholarships will be awarded to students entering directly from high school and three scholarships will be awarded to students who have completed one or more years of full-time studies.

Eligibility: Awarded to a female student in the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Science, or the Faculty of Education (with a major in Science Education) who has completed a minimum of 60 credit hours of undergraduate courses. Academic achievement and financial need will be considered. Preference will be given to a female student in the Faculty of Engineering.
Conditions: Awarded annually
Donor: Established by the University of Regina Faculty Association to support the participation of women in the profession of engineering and in scientific fields. The bursary is named to commemorate the contribution of Dr. Sarah Shorten to the status of academic women in Canada and to her legacy of leadership in the Canadian Association of University Teachers. In a small way, it honours the fourteen women who were tragically murdered on December 6, 1989 at École Polytechnique in Montreal.

Eligibility: Awarded to any entering or continuing full-time or part-time student with a disability at the University of Regina. A disability as defined by the World Health Organization of the United Nations, is a functional limitation or restriction of an individual's ability to perform an activity. Candidates must provide documentation and or verification supporting their disability. Entering students must have a minimum high school average of 60%, continuing students must have a minimum overall weighted percentage average on university courses of 60%. Preference will be given to students pursuing programs in computer science, economics, or administration. Financial need is considered.
Conditions: Awarded annually
Donor: Established in memory of Garth Edward Usick, who passed away in 1989. Garth, a paraplegic, graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Certificate in Computer Science.
