Eligibility: Awarded to a graduating Biology major with the highest average in biology courses.
Conditions: Awarded annually in May. Students graduating in October of the previous year will also be eligible for this award. Students may hold other scholarships, bursaries and awards in conjunction with this award.
Donor: Established in memory of the late Dr. Robert M. Agnew, who had been Head of the Biology Department prior to his retirement.

WILDLIFE AWARENESS PRIZE IN BIOLOGY![]()

Eligibility: Awarded to a student who is entering the fourth year of a Bachelor of Science Honours program in Biology. The student must have completed one course in ecology, and one course in either animal behaviour or verebrate zoology. Selection is based on academic standing in Biology courses and overall weighted percentage average.
Conditions: Awarded annually after the completion of the Winter semester. No award need be made if there are no suitable candidates.
Donor: This prize was established in 1993 by Dr. George J. Mitchell with residual funds from the University of Regina Student Chapter of The Wildlife Society.
