Eligibility: Applicants must be dependent sons and daughters of full-time employees of the active Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA). Applicants must be enrolling in a full-time post-secondary program leading to a degree, certificate or diploma at an accredited university, college or technical school. Selections are based on demonstrated good citizenship in family, school and community environments, demonstrated leadership ability, a statement from the applicants on why he or she thinks they should be considered and proficiency in the year of application.
Conditions: Awards are limited to one per family and two per member company. Consideration will be given to equitable regional distribution.

Eligibility: Awarded to a graduating high school student from the area served by the AECA and whose family is a member of the AECA in the year in which the application is made. Applicants must have achieved at least a 65% average in their grade twelve year and must be attending a post-secondary institute full-time in the Fall semester following graduation from high school. The primary criterion for awarding the scholarship is active volunteer involvement in AECA community programs. Secondary criteria are school and church involvement, in that order.

CANADIAN WESTERN AGRIBITION SCHOLARSHIP FUND![]()

Eligibility: Applicants must have participated in Canadian Western Agribition as an exhibitor. Eligible exhibitor activities include all livestock classes, 4-H classes, grain and forage classes and active trade exhibit/participation. The applicant must be applying for a scholarship to apply to their second or subsequent year in a program of at least two years duration. The Scholarship shall be used at recognized post secondary and graduate educational institutions. Applicants may re-apply in subsequent years, if they meet the requirements. There is no age limit for applicants.
Conditions: Awarded annually. Upon selection being made by Canadian Western Agribition, one half of the scholarship will be disbursed to the applicant's educational institution at the beginning of the academic year. The remaining 50% will be disbursed upon confirmation that the applicant has maintained grades consistent with scholarship levels at the institution after completion of the first term.
Donor: Canadian Western Agribition Scholarship Fund. Money is allocated to the Fund through the sale of Carcasses, Junior Market Steers as well as Grain and Forage Show sale items. The Fund also receives additional donations from a wide variety of sources including estates, Agribition sales and direct donations.

Eligibility: Awarded to former members of the Naval Forces of Canada, Merchant Navy War Veterans, their dependents, and descendants; and thereafter, serving and former members of the Sea Element of the Canadian Armed Forces of Canada, their dependents and descendants.

Donor: Established by Mrs. Marjorie Jack in memory of her late husband, Chief Petty Officer Andrew McQueen Jack, RCNR (Retired). The fund is administered by the Royal Canadian Naval Benevolent Fund.

Eligibility: Awarded to sons, daughters, or wards of Cominco Ltd. employees and pensioners enrolled in a high school or senior secondary school leaving course, preparatory to attendance at an institution of higher education. Class I Awards are awarded to all students who make application and who have obtained an 86%, or corresponding letter grade, or better standing, in their high school leaving course. Class II Awards are awarded to all students who make application and who have obtained an average in the 73% to 86% range, or corresponding letter grade, in their high school leaving course. The average for determining the basis of the award may not necessarily include all subjects taken in the final year but must include English and three other academic subjects in which the student has scored the highest grades.

Eligibility: Qualified applicants are the spouse, children, and dependants of a Local 911 Union member in good standing, or any Local 911 Union member in good standing. The applicant must be a full-time student. Preference will be given to those applicants who have previously received the least number of scholarships. Preference will be given to the applicant based on the seniority of the sponsoring Local 911 Union member.
Conditions: Awarded biannually. A separate application is required for each term. The recipients are selected by the CEP Local 911 Scholarship Committee. Payments will be made after the date for dropping courses has passed.

Eligibility: Awarded to a full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate student at a recognized university who has successfully completed one year of full-time studies in music and who is currently majoring in music (performance, education, composition, history, etc.) and planning a professional career in music.
Conditions: Preference will be given to students who, through academic performance, extra-curricular activities, and community involvement, best illustrate the values which F.J. Connell taught through the gift of music (ex: cooperation, honesty, work ethic, responsibility, teamwork, dedication, commitment, patience, goal setting). Preference may be given to descendants of former members of the Moose Jaw Lion's Band Tours (which occurred in the years 1964, 1970, 1974) and to descendants of former members of the Moose Jaw Lion's Band.

Eligibility: Awarded to students who have successfully completed one year of a recognized recreation program and who are returning to school in the coming year. Eligible programs include recreation, leisure studies, physical activity, education, sport administration, adapted physical activity and/or other related areas. Applicants must be Saskatchewan residents for a minimum of six months prior to the application deadline, have a good academic standing, have demonstrated leadership experience, demonstrated financial need, and be full-time students. Preference will be given to members of Saskatchewan Recreation Society, but these bursaries are not exclusive to members.
Conditions: Awarded annually
Donor: Established by the Saskatchewan Recreation Society in recognition of Roy Ellis' contributions in the area of recreation. Roy Ellis has devoted over 50 years in participating, promoting, and developing recreation within the province. His continuing work and efforts have touched many individuals and communities.

IMPERIAL OIL HIGHER EDUCATION AWARDS![]()

Value: Full tuition and other compulsory fees such as student activity fees, athletic, transcript, graduation, and laboratory fees (lab fees to a maximum of $100). The award does not cover room, board, text books, travel expenses, equipment, private lessons, practice sessions, extra or repeat subjects, or fees for taking examinations of a professional association.

Eligibility: Awarded for sons and daughters of Imperial Oil Ltd. employees, annuitants, or deceased employees who are accepted at any approved Canadian University or Community College. The student must begin their education within six years of starting secondary school (grade 9), and must have an average of at least 70% in the subjects required for admission by the institution. Students who do not qualify upon graduation from secondary school may be eligible should they achieve the equivalent of a 70% average while in post-secondary education.
Conditions: Awarded annually. Students may hold an award for a maximum of four academic years at the undergraduate degree or college diploma/certificate level. Usually, the final payment will be made at the start of the study period in which the first degree, diploma or certificate is attained. However, there may be cases where a student will take a two or three-year degree, diploma or certificate course followed by another undergraduate degree or diploma including first professional degrees. Then, the award will be granted to the maximum of four academic years.

Eligibility: The scholarships are open to children or wards of (a) employees and pensioners of Labatt Brewing Company, Labatt Breweries of Canada, and (b) deceased employees thereof who died while employed by one of these companies. The parent of the child must have been continuously in the service of the Company for a period of at least one year prior to the closing date set for applications each year. All applicants will be judged according to the following criteria: academic performance, leadership skills in school, community, work, sports or other social settings, quality of application and references.

Other considerations could be the need for financial assistance, the scholastic attitude at previous high school levels, and scholastic or athletic promise.

Eligibility: Awarded to serving or former Royal Canadian Sea Cadets and Navy League Wrenettes entering the first year of a university course leading to a degree.
Conditions: Awarded annually. These scholarships may not be granted where candidates enroll in the Canadian Forces on any basis whereby the government provides free tuition or grants.

Apply: Applications are to be submitted through the Navy League Branch responsible for the corps of which the candidate was a member, to the responsible Division, then to the National Office. Application consists of a personal letter of application from the candidate including information on the name and location of the university or college to be attended and the course of study to be taken, original certificate issued by responsible educational authorities which records examination results, letter from the Commanding Officer, recommendation of Branch President and recommendation of Division President.

Number: Two scholarships and One bursary
Eligibility: One scholarship is for Saskatchewan Government Employees Union (SGEU) members belonging to Branch 24. Those applying must be members in good standing for a minimum of 12 months prior to the time of application. The second scholarship is for dependants of members belonging to Branch 24. Those applying must be dependants of members in good standing for a minimum of 12 months prior to the time of application. Both financial need and academic achievement are considered for the two scholarships. Financial need, however, is of secondary importance for the scholarships. The bursary is for SGEU members belonging to Branch 24 or for dependants of members of Branch 24. Those applying for the bursary must be members in good standing or dependants of members in good standing for a minimum of 12 months prior to the time of application. Preference will be given to members over dependants for the bursary. Selection of the recipient for the bursary is based solely on financial need. This assessment will be based on the information provided at the time of application; however, the selection committee reserves the right to obtain additional information if warranted.
