Eligibility: Awarded to the student who has successfully completed internship and is judged to be most outstanding in secondary English teaching in that academic year. Criteria for selection include: weighted percentage average of not less than 70% in six English courses (200 level or higher) and two methodology courses in secondary English, completed internship report (very good standing), and a recommendation from the reading/language arts area.
Conditions: Awarded annually at the end of the academic year.
Donor: Established in memory of Joseph Duffy and his contribution to the teaching of English in Saskatchewan.

Eligibility: Award will be made to a student enrolled in the Faculty of Education. The applicant must have completed at least 30 credit hours, have a minimum weighted percentage average of 75% , be enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours and will have successfully completed EPS 100 with a 75% grade. Preference will be given to a student who demonstrates financial need as cited on the application form.

Donor: As a legacy of Vision 20/20, the Faculty of Education has established this award to provide support to a student who has completed one academic year in the Faculty of Education.

Eligibility: Awarded to two students (one in Elementary Education and one in Secondary Education) completing their pre-internship who have demonstrated the most potential as a teacher and leader.
Conditions: Awarded annually. One in Elementary Education and one in Secondary Education in the Fall of the year. Recipients will be chosen by the Student Program Counselling Committee of the Faculty of Education, which will have the discretion to make no award in either area if, in the opinion of the Committee, there are no suitable candidates.
Donor: Established in memory of Helen Marguerite Fuller (nee Williams) by her son, Dr. R. A. Fuller, and Johnson & Johnson.

Eligibility: The scholarship will be awarded by the Faculty of Education on the recommendation of faculty members to a student majoring in Arts Education in the Arts Education program who has completed three years of studies. The award is made on the basis of academic standing and the demonstration of teaching potential during pre-internship.
Conditions: Awarded annually. Tenable only at the University of Regina. The recipient may hold a General Proficiency Scholarship.

Eligibility: Eligible students must have completed their pre-internship semester and at least 90 credit hours of the BMusEd program at the University of Regina, have maintained a weighted percentage average of at least 75%, and show promise as a teacher in this field, as evaluated by the Faculty of Education. Financial need will be used as the deciding factor, other things generally being equal.
Conditions: Awarded annually. No scholarship need be awarded if there are no suitable candidates.

ANDRÉ AND SANDRA LALONDE SCHOLARSHIP![]()

Eligibility: Adhering to a three year cycle the scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student of the University of Regina who has a minimum weighted percentage average of 75%, is enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours, and with the following criteria:
FIRST YEAR - a history major who has completed at least three history courses, and a minimum of one French Language course beyond the 100 level.
SECOND YEAR - a French major who has completed at least three French courses, and a minimum of one history course beyond the 100 level.
THIRD YEAR - a student participating in an exchange program, Fall or Winter Semester, and is attending a Latin American University with whom the University of Regina has signed an agreement.
Conditions: Awarded annually.
Note: If there is no eligible candidate for the preferred order of awarding the scholarship, it will be moved forward to the next criteria.

Eligibility: Awarded to students in the Faculty of Education who have completed internship. Candidates will be selected from the top twenty interns each year. Internship quality will be based on faculty advisor and co-operating teacher reports. Final selection will be judged on the basis of internship, scholarship, and other practicum involvement ratings such as pre-internship field experiences. There is no requirement for students to return to classes.

A minimum weighted percentage average of 65% is required to earn the bursary.

Eligibility: Candidates must be students registered in the Faculty of Education at the University of Regina with an overall weighted percentage average of 75% on all university studies. The prizes will be awarded on the basis of academic achievement, completion of EPSY 322 and one other accreditation course, completion of internship, evidence of experiences with special needs children (other than in Internship) and have commitment to completion of the series of courses for Special Education Accreditation. GPA is to be used as deciding criteria in case of tie. Selection of both Elementary and Secondary recipients normally will apply.

The prize will be awarded on the basis of academic achievement in the sequence of five University of Regina courses leading to the accreditation in Special Education, completion of internship, evidence of experiences with special needs children (other than in internship), and overall GPA. GPA will be used as the deciding criteria in case of tie. The selection is to include students in Elementary, Secondary, BAC, and Extended Studies programs.
