COMPUTER SCIENCE
CANADIAN INFORMATION PROCESSING SOCIETY, QUEEN CITY SECTION, BURSARY

Eligibility: Awarded to a full-time student majoring in computer science who has completed at least 60 credit hours with 18 of these in Computer Science. Recommendations for the award will be made by the Computer Science Department on the basis of student activities and academic standing. Applicants must submit a letter detailing their current interests in computing and/or business, their computer related work experiences, and their career goals. As well, a description of activities, both in and outside of school, should be included.
Conditions: Awarded annually in the Winter semester. Recipients must be willing to attend a Canadian Information Processing Society meeting to receive official recognition for the award.

INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT (ISM) CORPORATION SCHOLARSHIP
Value: A monetary award equal to the cost for one student to enroll in the computer science program for one year
Number: One
Eligibility: Awarded to a full-time senior student majoring in Computer Science in a BSc or BSc Hons program at the University of Regina. The student must have completed at least 90 credit hours of the program at the time the award is made, with a minimum of six Computer Science courses. The recipient must be registered for a minimum of 15 credit hours during the semester in which the scholarship is held. The award is based on academic standing in Computer Science courses and on overall weighted percentage average.
Conditions: Awarded annually at the time of Spring Convocation. Any associated fees such as building trust fund, student union, academic services, science material, faculty fees, and books are not included in the value of this scholarship.

MILLAR WESTERN COMPUTER SCIENCE SCHOLARSHIP
Value: $2500
Number: One
Eligibility: Awarded to a full time student (12 credit hours) who has successfully completed a minimum of 30 credit hours (including Computer Science 170) and no more than 57 credit hours. Selection will be based on academic excellence on the average of all courses completed. Recipients must be from the Mistik Forestry Management Area. Credit or $1250 will be paid towards Fall tuition and will be renewable for winter tuition in the same academic year, provided the student has registered in full time studies (12 credit hours) and has an average of 75% in the first semester.
