Eligibility: Awarded to two graduating students: one who is receiving a BASc degree and one who is receiving a BSc degree that includes the course requirements necessary for registration with APEGS. The students selected will have best displayed a combination of leadership qualities in University and other activities, and academic achievement throughout his or her program at the University of Regina. Candidates must have a minimum weighted percentage average of 75%. The selection will be made with 70% on academic standing and 30% on leadership qualities.
Conditions: Awarded annually at Spring Convocation. Fall Graduates will be considered as well.

Eligibility: Awarded to the most outstanding graduate of the School of Journalism. The following factors will be taken into consideration in making the award: weighted percentage average based on 60 credit hours in the School of Journalism; quality of work during internship; quality of news assignments in terms of originality and in demonstrated ability to obtain exclusive news items in the field of general news and investigative reporting. A weighting factor of two-thirds will be used for the weighted percentage average and one-third for the quality of work and news assignments.

Number: Two per year/one each Convocation
Eligibility: Open to all students of the University of Regina receiving a first undergraduate degree. Awarded to a graduate who has achieved a minimum 80% average and who has shown major leadership in and commitment to extra-curricular activities while a student at the University of Regina. The student must have a minimum of 60 GPA hours from the University of Regina, transfer credit will be taken into consideration for consistency of academic performance but these courses will not be considered GPA hours nor the grades used in the calculation of the GPA, and the maximum length of time it takes the student to complete their degree program and should be the length of the program plus two years. Academic standing and leadership are weighted equally.

Eligibility: Awarded to the most distinguished student, based on academic achievement in all courses completed during the previous twelve months. To be eligible the student must have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours in two semesters. For students in Co-op programs, not having two semesters (30 hours) of academic work in the past twelve months, the period of consideration for the University Medal is sixteen months. Such Co-op students are required to have eight months of full-time academic study (30 hours) during that period in order to be considered for the award.

Eligibility: Awarded to any student with a disability graduating with an undergraduate degree from the University of Regina. A disability, as defined by the World Health Organization of the United Nations, is a functional limitation or restriction of an individual's ability to perform an activity. Candidates must provide documentation and/or verification supporting their disability along with a letter describing how they coped at university.
Conditions: Awarded in the Spring and Fall at the time of Spring and Fall Convocations.
