Regina Environment

For visitors unfamiliar with this part of the world, Regina is located ~1200 miles east of Vancouver, British Columbia. In between are found the Canadian Rockies with Banff and the Icefields Parkway [the rate of retreat of the glaciers is clearly marked], together with Calgary, Edmonton and the vast oil sands. Regina itself is a prairie city of ~185,000, easily reached on the Trans-Canada Highway and well served by Air Canada, WestJet and Northwest Airlines.
