Located on the University of Regina main campus, just steps Wascana Park and its scenic walking trails, and minutes away from many local grocery and shopping centres, our two UR Priority housing locations (Kīšik & College West) provide all the amenities you will need to succeed in your academic career.

Our Mission

UR Prior!ty exists to support our incoming first year students! Housing Services along with our Residence Life team, employs a holistic approach in supporting our students. By combining social engagement, personal wellbeing, academic supports and life skill classes, this ensures a positive learning experience for all of our students!

Programs for You

Our Housing and Residence Life teams will deliver all the supports you need right within Kīšik Residence. From academic advising and tutoring sessions to cooking classes with our Food Services chefs, to our Living-Learning Community events - there is something for everyone. Frequently Asked Questions

Which semesters are Housing Services currently accepting applications for?

Housing Services is offering accommodations for all upcoming semesters:

  • Fall & Winter 2022-2023 (September 2022 to April 2023)

How are rooms assigned?

Students are required to select their top four room type preferences as part of the housing application. Rooms are assigned based on date applied and room type availability.

Can I choose my own roommate(s)?

Yes. You can complete roommate requests as part of your housing application. You can also log in to the housing portal prior to your application being processed to update this section.

Please note: in order to be placed together, your roommate requests will have to accept your invitation. They will receive an email.

Can I request a private room?

Yes. We offer private accommodations, in addition to apartment-style accommodations. Room types include private dorms with private washrooms, private dorms with shared-washrooms (sharing with one other person only) and studios apartments. Our dorm-style accommodations come equipped with a micro-fridge (fridge-microwave combination appliance) Students in dorm-style rooms are required to purchase a dining plan from our designated food service provider and will have access to a wide-variety of on-campus dining options at their fingertips!
