Fire Prevention and Response

Fire Prevention and Response is an integral part of emergency management.  The University has designated and trained Emergency Building Wardens for each building to aid in emergency response and building evacuation.  The Chief Emergency Building Warden is easily identifiable by his/her bright green vest.  Emergency Building Wardens have bright orange vests.

Building Wardens will guide people out of the building to pre-designated safe areas (assembly points). Ensure you are familiar with your building's evacuation procedures/routes.  For more detailed information on fire prevention and response-related topics, follow the links below:
