Chemwatch
Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) can be accessed online from any computer on campus by accessing the Chemwatch MSDS Database. The Chemwatch website: jr.chemwatch.net/chemffx/ should be bookmarked on all Lab and Office computers used by Laboratory workers. Chemwatch does not require a username or password to access.
NEW FEATURE: Chemwatch is now able to generate WHMIS labels for printing anywhere you like!
Chemwatch will input the relevant portions of the MSDS, WHMIS and PPE symbols, and create the label for you. There are 3 different sizes available to choose from. If you would like to order the recommended label paper (size and colour should be standardized across campus) contact Health, Safety and Environment for supplier details.
