Creating a Respectful University

Creating a respectful workplace is an important objective of the current strategic plan of the University of Regina and there is an expectation that everyone on campus - students, faculty and staff - conduct themselves in a respectful manner. This presentation will serve as an introduction to the Respectful University Policy and will address the following questions:

What is guiding us in terms of a respectful university?
What does a respectful university look like?
What are the benefits of a respectful university?

Additional topics include social media, appropriate use of email, cultural differences and the role that language plays in harassment and discrimination.
