The Honourable Judge Pat Reis, Provincial Court of Saskatchewan

Law Day events originally focused on celebrating the signing of Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms. They are also an opportunity to engage in public dialogue and to reflect on the role of law and the justice system in important areas of public policy. This year, JSGS and the Saskatchewan Branch of the Canadian Bar Association will co-host a panel discussion with Judges from the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan who will share their insights and experiences regarding efforts to advance Reconciliation in the justice system. Among other topics, the panelists will consider lessons that might be drawn from Saskatchewan's Cree Court to inform approaches in other areas.

This lecture has been approved for 1.5 CPD Ethics hours by the Law Society of Saskatchewan.
