With the exception of Res Orientation, Rezzy Social and Rezzy life, these Welcome Weekend events are open to all students. *Please Note: The schedule below is subject to change.

Sunday Schedule

9:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.

Open Gym   CK Building, Gyms 2 and 3  

Check out the University's recreational facilities with your new friends.  Open for all students, no student ID required.

 
9:00 a.m.- 10:00 a.m.

Morning Exercise - Academic Green 

The Dr. Paul Schwaan Institute will be leading a workout and exercise to help you start off your day!

9:00 a.m. -6:00 p.m.

Muslim Prayer Room - Riddell Center 285

A prayer room set aside for Muslim students.

10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Chill Out Room - Global Learning Centre - College West 115

Want to take a break from all the activities?  Join us in the Chill Out Room to play board games, video games, cards, and free drinks & snacks.

City Tour
(City Tour meet at Riddell Centre)

Jump on board our chartered buses to zoom around the city in a fully guided tour of the City of Regina!

Ambassadors will help you find your classes for the new semester.  Receive a tour to seek out your classrooms.

Football 101
Academic Green

Learn and ins and outs of Canadian football or get your face painted in preparation for the big game!

2:00 p.m.-

Rider Football Game
Riddell Centre, The Owl

All ages are invited to The Owl to watch the big game on the big screen TV’s. Lots of snacks and prizes. (This is a dry event. No alcohol is permitted.)

Welcome Party
Academic Green

An end of summer evening of songs, smores and fireside fun! Come to see Regina's best Flame Dancers perform after dusk. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the entertainment and make some smores. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair.
