About Us

Program Overview:

Summer Sports School is a physical activity program for children 4 to 12 years of age. It started in 1968 and has been servicing the Regina community every summer ever since. (Please note, due to Covid-19 camp will be open to children ages 5 - 11)

Children will be provided with opportunities to participate in a variety of sports, science, art, aquatic and other physical activities in a safe, fun and non-competitive environment. The emphasis is for participants to have fun, meet others, become physically active and learn new skills. All activities will be planned, facilitated and supervised by instructors and will be modified to suit the age level and ability of the participants. No previous experience is necessary. At times throughout the program the instructors engage the participants in full camp activities such as the Mini Olympics.

Lunch supervision is provided for all full day programs. Please see the course descriptions for programs with swimming options (Due to Covid-19 we will not be offering swimming during the day). In addition, Summer Sports School offers an extended hour’s program. Children will be supervised from 8:00 am to 8:45 am and 4:15 pm to 5:00 pm daily. Please note that there will be no planned activities during these extended hour programs.
