Membership Terms and Conditions
- All patrons must scan their active client card or student photo
identification card at the designated scanning station. NO
CARD - NO ACCESS. All lost client cards will be subject to a
$10.00 replacement fee.
- There will be a $30.00 charge for all returned cheques including
Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF).
- Cancellation Fee Policy:
- No refunds will be issued on one-month memberships,
daily drop-ins or punch passes. No refunds on four or twelve
month memberships unless for medical reasons (doctor’s note
required) or for relocation out of the city. All refunds
will be prorated based on the date of commencement to the
date of cancellation. A $20.00 cancellation fee will be
assessed for all refunds. (No exceptions)
- Memberships utilizing Payroll Deduction, (U of R
employees only) must give cancellation notice by the 10th
day of the month in order to cancel the deduction at the end
of that month; otherwise, it will be cancelled the following
month.
- For scheduled monthly payment plans, membership refunds
must be requested at least 5 (five) working days prior to
the scheduled membership payment date. (Monthly VISA, AMEX,
MC or Cheque payments)

- The walking track will be closed to clients Monday to Thursday
from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30
a.m. for Track & Field Athletic practice from October 1st to March
31st. These dates may be changed – pending weather. The walking
track will also be closed during all University of Regina
Intervarsity Events. Please exercise extreme caution when crossing
the track.
- Patrons must be 14 years of age or older. (Proof of age and
guardian’s signature is required for patrons under 16 years of age)
- Food, beverages, knapsacks, gym bags and outdoor clothing will
not be permitted in the training area.
- Proper gym attire is mandatory. No halter-tops, sports bras, cut
offs or ripped garments will be permitted. Clean athletic shoes must
be worn at all times. No sandals allowed.
- There will be a maximum 40-minute time limit on all cardio
machines. Equipment reservations will be accepted in person only at
the time of workout on a first come, first served basis. Consecutive
bookings on the same type of cardio machine will not be permitted.
Patrons will be allowed a five-minute grace period to arrive and
begin working out when scheduled or risk forfeiture of their
schedule time.
- All equipment must be cleaned after use. Cleaning products
provided.
- Any person causing malicious damage to the facility or equipment
in the facility will be held financially responsible for the repair
or replacement of such damage. Failure to pay for said damages may
result in the termination of the membership until payment has been
received. The University of Regina reserves the right to discontinue
memberships. A prorated refund will be issued.
- Prices are subject to change without notice.
- Parking Regulations: Parking is available in Lot 4, Monday to
Friday, after 5:00 p.m. and daily on the weekends in the designated
Community Parking area (limited availability). Note: Parking meters
are enforced each weekday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- The Fitness & Lifestyle Centre will be closed on all statutory
holidays as well as any University of Regina closures. This includes
the days between Christmas and New Years. For further information

- Memberships are not transferable.
- The applicant agrees that the University of Regina and/or
proprietors will not be held responsible for any accidents or loss,
however caused and agrees to release same from all claims or damages
which may result by any reason of such accidents or loss. I
acknowledge that participation in the Fitness and Lifestyle Centre
may involve the risk of personal injury. The use of equipment,
facilities and premises of the University of Regina by patrons
participating in Fitness and Lifestyle Centre activities shall
constitute acceptance of that risk regardless of the nature of the
injury. I warrant that I am physically fit to participate and
understand that the choice to participate brings with of the
ASSUMPTION OF THOSE RISKS AND RESULTS that may be associated with my
participation.
- Conduct Policy: The University of Regina supports
fairness and respect in dealings with all students, staff, faculty
and visitors. VERBAL ABUSE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
SERVICE MAY BE DENIED IF INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR IS DISPLAYED.
