Operator Algebra Seminar

We continue the review of fundamental objects in quantum information theory from an operator algebras perspective. We discuss quantum channels and Stinespring's dilation theorem as a means of introducing the partial trace operator and the purification of states, and then move on to separable and entangled states, the Schmidt decomposition, and Peres' separability criterion (time permitting)
