Title: A Three-Parameter Generalized Lindley-Poisson Distribution (492 kB)

Abstract:

A new generalized Lindley-Poisson distribution with three-parameter is proposed by compounding the Poisson distribution with the three-parameter generalized Lindley distribution. In this seminar, I will present several sta- tistical properties of this proposed distribution like the shape of the pmf, r^th factorial moment, moment generating function, etc. In addition, I will show the simulation of random variables and use expectation-maximization algorithm to estimate parameters.
