Title: On the Double Homology of Moment-Angle Complexes (78 kB) PDF file

Abstract:

Persistent homology has become a central object of study in topological data analysis, this construction is stable in some sense, however, when extending this concept to moment-angle complexes we lose that stability. In 2021 Dr. Stanley and collaborators developed the theory of Double Cohomology which solves this stability issue.

In this talk I will introduce some basic concepts from toric topology and the construction of double homology, together with some results that could characterize a special class of simplicial complexes.
