Chasity Delorme

Chasity Delorme is a proud Cree woman and member of Cowessess First Nation. She is excited to join the board of the Community Engagement and Research Centre to bring Indigenous ways of knowing to community-based research and programming at the University of Regina.
She has been recognized locally and internationally for her social justice advocacy work. As a student she was part of the Executive Board of the Canadian Federation of Students and chaired their national Aboriginal Caucus.
She has a Masters Certificate in Sustainable Community Development from Royal Roads University and a BA in Health Studies from First Nations University of Canada.
She has been awarded numerous scholarships and awards, including the CBC Saskatchewan Future 40 Award. Her extensive community service includes currently lending her talents to the Board of the YWCA and teaching youth and adults Pow Wow Dancing.
She is the First Nations, Metis and Inuit Student Advisor at Miller Comprehensive High School.
