This presentation will discuss applying innovative thinking to designing the next generation of technologies for older adults. Dr. Mihailidis will present new technologies that use artificial intelligence to ensure that they are user friendly and effective in providing day-to-day support for older adults and their caregivers.
These devices include an intelligent system for assisting older adults with dementia during common self-care activities, an intelligent system for fall detection and emergency response, and new research on technologies that can automatically collect various physiological measures in order to help older adults live healthier lives.
