Amber Fletcher, PhD candidate at the Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy is the 2013 recipient of the Outstanding Young Alumni Award. Sponsored by the University of Regina Alumni Association, this award is one of the highest honours that can be bestowed on distinguished University of Regina alumni. Fletcher is being recognized for her many scholarly accomplishments as a researcher into the ways agricultural policy and climate change affect the daily lives of prairie farm women, as well as her equally impressive record of community service, particularly with regard to promoting women’s issues and leadership.
