Arts students - work in Washington D.C. and get U of R credit with an internship at the Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars! The Center offers a work experience tailored to YOUR interests and academic coursework and will enable you to gain invaluable employment experience in Washington – a global epicentre of politics, business and international diplomacy.
Approximately $9000 in funding will be provided to five students undertaking internships at the Washington Center in order to cover program and housing fees. Faculty of Arts undergraduates (including the federated colleges) who are Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents and who have a UGPA of 68.75% or higher are eligible to apply.
An information session about the program will be held at 2:00 p.m. on TUESDAY, 1 OCTOBER in CL 130. A representative of the Washington Center and a former intern at the Washington Center will be available to answer all of your questions.
