Jason Warick, StarPhoenix Reporter U of R Journalism School graduate Jason Warick has been a reporter at The StarPhoenix since 1996. He’s filed stories from El Salvador to the Philippines, from Cypress Hills to the Black Lake Denesuline First Nation. Jason has worked as a farmer, roofer and grocery clerk, but decided to become a journalist because they got in to sports events and concerts for free. He’s grateful to the U of R for helping him find his way, and for finding his wife, fellow J-school grad Michelle Beveridge. They live in Saskatoon with their two children, Annie and Taras. |
