Justice in Prime Time: Media and Crime Related Public Perceptions

We live in an age where media is literally everywhere and is regularly lauded for its entertainment value and criticized for its biased presentation of social problems. How do we resolve our love-hate relationship with crime-related media content? This presentation aims to unpack crime in the media, with a particular focus on prime-time television and the role it can play in shaping public discourse and individual crime-related public perceptions.
