    Public Lectures

In additional to the many other public discussions, seminars, and special events frequently occurring throughout the Faculty of the Arts, we are pleased to present three major public lectures each year:

Each year, noteworthy researchers, activists and thinkers are invited to the University of Regina to deliver these public lectures, presented in honour of a person or people who have been influential in shaping the course of education, society and culture, and/or justice. All members of the community are invited to attend these free events, and refreshments and parking are also provided free of charge.

The Faculty of Arts also hosts a recurring public discussion series:

Installments of this series take place in the Fall and Winter, at various venues around the City of Regina, including the Regina Public Library and the McKenzie Art Gallery. All members of the public are encouraged to attend these free public debates and share their views on timely hot topics.

The Faculty of Arts is home to an engaged and vibrant learning culture, exemplified by the many special events it hosts throughout the year. Be sure to view the University Events calendar for even more current events listings.
