Registering for classes

Choosing classes can be complicated because there are so many factors to consider, including: your interests and abilities, the requirements of your chosen program of study, the requirements of the courses you want to take, and the times at which those courses are offered. After you've met with your academic advisor and selected the right courses for you, you'll be ready to register for them. First steps:

• Consult the Course Catalog for a list of all the courses offered each year, as well as days/times
• Take a look at the Academic Calendar for an outline of the requirements of your program, or what you need to take in order to graduate
• Access the online UR Self Service to determine your Time Ticket and to register in courses.
