Jonathan Achtzehner

Jonathan Achtzehner has been playing music for longer than he can remember. After many years as a violinist, Jonathan found his true calling as a violist on the advice of his teacher Dr. Howard Leyton-Brown. Besides teaching violin and viola at the Conservatory and occasional symphony performances, he is also active in the choral music scene as the director of the Luther Bach Choir and Our Savior's Lutheran Church choir.

Jonathan is always eager to take on new musical projects, be it Baroque chamber music, Romantic string quartets or 20th century Scandinavian choral works.
