CTL Teaching Awards

The Centre for Teaching and Learning has a number of teaching awards for faculty, instructors, and sessional lecturers. These awards recognize and reward the excellent teaching that happens every day at the University of Regina.
Nominations for the 2018 CTL Teaching Awards will be called in late 2017. Please come back for more information.

University of Regina President’s Award for Teaching Excellence (pdf ) - This is recognized as the premier internal teaching excellence award for the academic year. The award will be given to individuals who have displayed excellence in leadership and innovation for undergraduate teaching and learning at the University of Regina.

Teaching Award of Excellence in Flexible Learning (pdf ) - This award recognizes exemplary achievement by those engaged in non-traditional methods of teaching, which could include (but is not limited to) online, televised, and/or blended learning.

University of Regina New Faculty Teaching Award of Recognition (pdf ) - This award recognizes teaching excellence, growth, and development for new faculty members within the first three years of employment.

Centre for Teaching & Learning Award for Innovation in Teaching (pdf ) - This award recognizes faculty members with excellence in pedagogical innovation, leadership, and effective teaching and learning for undergraduate and/or graduate students at the University of Regina.

Teaching Award of Excellence in Experiential Learning (pdf ) – This award recognizes exceptional achievement by faculty members and laboratory instructors engaged in experiential learning, which could include (but is not limited to) community-based learning, co-op programs and internships, simulations, national study tours, international study, and/or field internship opportunities.
