Application Process

In order to graduate, you must complete and submit an Application for Graduation. CLICK HERE to apply online. 

Application Deadlines

• If you complete your program in December, you must apply by November 30 in order to confer the following January and attend the next spring convocation ceremony.
• If you complete your program in April, you must apply by January 31 to confer in May and attend the spring convocation ceremony.
• If you complete your program between May and August, you must apply by July 31 to confer in September and attend the fall convocation ceremony.

You are required to submit an application for graduation to each faculty in which you are studying (e.g. If you are in the BEd/BKin program, you must submit an application for graduation to both the Faculties of Education and Kinesiology & Health Studies).

After you apply, you can check your status online through UR Self-Service.  Ensure your student account is clear to avoid issues with transcrtips or parchments.

Graduation Photographs

Education students are encouraged to have their graduation portrait taken. All graduates photographed will be included in the graduating class composite that will be displayed on the walls at the University of Regina.

The Faculty of Education uses Camera One as the official photographer of graduation photos. Portrait sessions will be held on campus and in-studio.  Academic regalia (gowns, hoods and collars) will be provided by Camera One.
