The Faculty of Education is committed to engaging with and serving its diverse communities to enhance educational opportunities, social cohesion, and well-being.The Faculty values the diversity of knowledges and expertises that exists within communities and among its many education-sector partners. The Faculty is committed to fostering and sustaining university-community collaborations and partnerships for mutually beneficial knowledge exchange and invests into human capital that address pertinent societal issues, build community capacity, enhance learning and discovery, strengthen collective and individual responsibility to each other and the planet we share by preparing educated, engaged, and caring individuals.
Indigenous Education at First Nations University of Canada: Focuses on supporting students as they join our learning community and to produce teachers who can promote First Nations control of First Nations education by developing and implementing First Nations content.
Saskatchewan Urban Native Teacher Education Program (SUNTEP): Fully accredited program, offered by the Gabriel Dumont Institute in cooperation with the University of Regina.
Dr. Stirling McDowell Foundation for Research into Teaching: Supports research, inquiry and sharing of information that focuses on teaching and learning within the publicly funded PreK-12 education system.
Yukon Native Teacher Education Program (YNTEP): Fosters teacher candidates in gaining the dispositions, knowledge and skills to develop the habits of mind and capabilities for best practice instruction within a cross-cultural classroom.
Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation: Embraces and promotes a holistic vision of teaching and learning by offering a wide variety of programs, services and resources that support teachers’ professional learning.
Ministry of Education, Government of Saskatchewan: Committed to the success and well-being of all Saskatchewan learners and the enhancement of literacy for all Saskatchewan people.
Saskatchewan School Boards Association:Provides leadership, coordination and services to member boards of education to support student achievement.
Education Students' Society:Community of hard working and dedicated students who organize events and opportunities for all education students.
