Teacher Education Application and Profile 2018

Prior to completing the online application, we recommend using the Teacher Education Application Worksheet (284 KB)PDF to prepare your answers for the Relevant Experience, Reference, Personal Statement and Diversity questions that are part of the application. These questions should be prepared well in advance of submitting the online application.

High School Applicants - Documents

Submit one Saskatchewan Learning Record of Standing/official transcript showing final grades to date and a schedule or list of all Grade 12 courses planned (may be listed directly on the Application for Undergraduate Admission). Early conditional high school applicants to the Faculty of Education from schools on a semester or block system must submit, to the Admissions Office, a school certified copy of the Saskatchewan Learning Record of Standing or an official transcript showing their final first semester of Grade 12 grades.

All Other Applicants - Documents

Submit two official transcripts from any post-secondary institutions attended (with the exception of University of Regina). Post-secondary transcripts must be submitted directly from the post-secondary institution. Applicants currently in classes must have transcripts sent at the time of application and again when grades are final. Admission is conditional until final grades have been received and the admission decision confirmed. Transfer applicants are required to submit all post-secondary transcripts (with the exception of University of Regina transcripts).

Selection of Applicants and Notification

All applicants will receive written notification from the Faculty of Education and University of Regina Admissions of the selection decision (accepted, waitlisted or declined). Letters will outline next steps in the process. Normally decision letters are sent in April for post-secondary applicants and in May for High School applicants.
