Our Calendar, programs of study, link to apply online, scholarship and awards information, information for international students, minimum admission requirements and cost of study are all available on the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research website.   We do not have an information package to send out please visit the above website.

Some links to check out from the FGSR website for international students are:

  • Minimum Standards of Admission – Here you can find what the overall grade is required from your country to meet the minimum admission requirements.
  • Programs of Study – Here you can see the Engineering programs that we offer as well as the course descriptions for the courses that may be offered.
  • English Language Requirements – If your first language is not English, you will need to provide proof of English proficiency, usually in the form of recognized tests. If you attended a university recognized by the University of Regain and the language of instruction was English then you may not need to provide a test. Please see below a link to the tests we accept.
  • Tuition and Fees - Please note that a fulltime student takes 6 credit hours per semester and there are three semesters in a year.
  • Scholarships


The deadlines for applying to the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science are:

  • Fall 2016 – apply by March 31, 2016;
  • Winter 2016 – apply by July 31, 2015; and
  • Spring/Summer 2016 – apply by November 30, 2015

  • It is recommended that you make contact with the professors to find a supervisor before you complete your application. Please visit our Faculty directory for professor's contact information.
  • Electronics MENG students do not need to contact professors.

Application Process:

  • Students apply directly to Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research.
  • The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science does not assess a student’s qualifications until they have submitted their complete application to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research. 
  • Once you have submitted all of your documents to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research, they will send your application to our department to be reviewed after the application deadline for the semester you have applied for. 
  • We will then send our recommendation to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research where they will make the final decision.
