Art for Lunch with Michelle Harazny, Artistic Director, Nuit Blanche Regina

Join the Department of Visual Arts for ART FOR LUNCH with Michelle Harazny, Artistic Director, Nuit Blanche Regina.

Michelle Harazny is an arts administrator with over twelve years of experience working and volunteering for arts organizations across Canada. She founded and currently oversees the planning and operations of Nuit Blanche Regina, a night-time arts festival that showcases art installations and engages local audiences. She has experience creating and coordinating large, multi-faceted events and public artworks in outdoor urban spaces.

Nuit Blanche Regina is a transformative after-dark arts festival for all ages. For one night, Regina's Downtown and Warehouse District are taken over by artists and creatives in an attempt to disrupt the concept of an urban environment. Viewers are encouraged to take in this no charge event by foot or bicycle and celebrate both professional and emerging artists working in new media technologies, performance, dance, sculpture, and more. Nuit Blanche Regina strives to annually increase exposure to new media art and technologies, while amplifying and connecting the diverse voices of emerging and professional artists and curators in our city.
