Chinese New Year Celebration

Friday, February 16th, is the New Year Day in Chinese Lunar Calendar. This marks the beginning of the Lunar Year - the Year of the Dog.

In collaboration with University Food Services, the Confucius Institute would like to invite you to our Chinese New Year Celebration in Riddell Centre.

Come check out the Cultural Centre in the Riddell Centre Common Area(11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.), watch the popular lion dance (12:00 p.m.), and participate in traditional Chinese New Year games and activities for a chance to win fantastic prizes(including cash cards valued up to $50) while learning more about Chinese New Year culture.

In addition, a delicious Chinese buffet will be available for just $12.99 (plus tax), and the first 200 guests who go through the buffet will receive a "Lucky Money Red Envelope" with cash value voucher inside -- just say Happy New Year in Chinese (The Phonetic English Spelling: Shin Nian Kwai La)!
