Conferences - U of R Sponsored
For girls/women aged 14 to adult
Held off-campus at Co-operators Centre, Evraz Place
All participants will receive a Cougars jersey!
This camp is intended strictly for skill development of older players and is geared toward high level players who are preparing for Bantam AA and Midget AAA tryouts, or players who are currently playing college or university hockey. There will be a warm-up and then station work, where select skills and patterns are taught and repeated. The last 10-25 minutes of each session will incorporate small area game play where the players will need to transfer the skills practiced into game-like situations.
Players will be given off-ice work to do each session to prepare for the next ice session and practice skills learned in the last session. Coaches will be available immediately after ice sessions to teach off-ice skills. Head Instructors are NCCP Level 3 and 4 certified and trained educators.
