Gambling Awareness

Join Katelyn Selanders from Canadian Mental Health Association to increase your awareness of current gambling trends and issues in Saskatchewan. Casino trips, bingo nights and friendly bets on card games can be a great way to build a friendship, get out of the house, or just relax and be entertained! But, do the benefits outweigh the risks or is gambling inherently problematic? Is gambling today different than it was a few decades ago? Should I be worried about the gambling behaviour of a friend or adult child? All of these questions, as well as up-to-date information on gambling trends or gambling-related mobile gaming, will be explored in this presentation.
