Three-Minute Thesis filming

The final of this year's Three Minute Thesis will once again be featured on Access TV across Saskatchewan, and we want you to be a part of this special broadcast. We are the only university in Canada that is showcasing graduate research in this way.

Six graduate students will compete on stage at the University Theatre. An 80,000 word PhD thesis would take about nine hours to present; these students will have a maximum of just three minutes to explain their research in a way that is easy to understand by a non-academic audience.

At stake is prize money and a spot in the Western Canada regional finals, which will also be held at the U of R.

This is an opportunity for us to showcase the amazing research done by our graduate students and we are counting on a great crowd.

This event is free and open to the public with a reception to follow.
