Conferences - U of R Sponsored
February 2021 is Saskatchewan Aboriginal Storytelling Month and it is being coordinated by the Library Services for Saskatchewan Aboriginal Peoples Committee (LSSAP). The purpose of LSSAP's program is to increase province-wide cultural activity levels of Indigenous Peoples; have Elders and Storytellers demonstrate the cultural and historical value of storytelling; and foster storytelling partnerships through joint planning with organizations. Join Kim Soo Goodtrack, a retired school teacher, artist, children's television series creator, and author from the Woodmountain Reserve in Southern Saskatchewan for a live streaming session that will be hosted by the Dr. John Archer Library.
