How do musicians and artists build unique pathways for their passions and art practices?
Journeys in Music are FREE conversations with professional musicians where we hope to build dialogue and understanding about how a musician or artist is made.
In Journeys in Music with Alison Yun-Fei Jiang, hear about the life of a composer as told by a composer. Alison will talk about how she got to be one of the Carrefore Composer in Residence with the National Arts Centre and where she draws inspiration for her compositions.
This talk is 45 minutes led by the Conservatory Head, Christa Eidsness, with 15 minutes for questions and answers at the end. These conversations are perfect for music students, artists, musicians, and community members interested in storytelling and learning more about the life of musicians.
This talk is supported by the Saskatchewan Orchestral Association (SOA) through their Project Grant program, which is supported by funding from the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation through SaskCulture.
