Conferences - U of R Sponsored
Held at First Nations University of Canada, Land and the Imagination is a symposium that will bring together writers and visual artists whose work is rooted by their engagement with place, particularly prairie landscapes. Open to students and the public, the readings and discussions will aim to initiate conversation on how we might (re)imagine socially and environmentally sustainable ways to inhabit the land. Participants include Sherry Farrell Racette, Tim Lilburn, Jan Zwicky, David Garneau, Trevor Herriot, Heather Benning, Terri Fidelak and Jesse Archibald-Barber.
